Upcoming MMO World of Darkness has released some great info. Here’s some quick bullet points to summarize the game.
- Same universe as Vampire: The Masquerade.
- Same Clans from Vampire: The Masquerade.
- Eve Online Developer CCP is producing the game including some of the original White Wolf development team.
- 60 developers currently working on the game.
- Players start off as human’s and can resist the turn if they want.
- Cities will have a player based leadership.
- Leaders of cities can call blood hunts, which targets a single player, and if the target is killed they can die from a permadeath.
- Leaders can have revolts on their hands.
- Human Blood will be the main resource, and cities will control those resources.
- The world will feature vampire’s at the beginning, but other creatures of the world will make an appearance in later expansions.
- The game has been in development for 4 years.
- No Released Date has been announced.
